Community Garden

The Paul & Ruth Lemp Memorial Community Garden (LCG) at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church (COSLC) 

features 55 raised garden beds for community members to garden within, some of which are ADA-friendly; an ADA-approved port a potty; 450 gallon water tank; and a gathering space for social events and fellowship. 

The garden is located just feet away from a pre-existing fenced playground. 

The garden has been built with the intention that it be a space for neighbors of the church to gather and garden in.

Future plans include: 

adding a memorial garden outside the fence where reflection, prayer, resting, and remembering may take place; adding a composting system; and adding at least 20 more garden beds. 

We are overjoyed to finally be seeing this dream of ours and community members' come to life!
